The building was badly damaged and leaning during the Newcastle earthquake. The damaged building was out of plumb, the front columns and all ornate corbels were cracked and needed replacing. The old Westpac building in Newcastle, known as McGrath’s house was repaired and renovated.
- We cut and propped back the building to a plumb state
- The ornate corbel courses were recast and rendered
- The internal of the building was repaired
- Antique sandstone rendered and totally refurbished.
